Introduction to Land Search Management

The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Unit and the National Park Service have partnered to create the Introduction to Search Management Best Practices video. This 35-minute-long video introduces modern best practices for managing a search for a lost or missing person. This video by itself is not intended to be a complete training product but should be used in conjunction with or followed up by a formal search management course.

Avalanche Awareness in the Kachina Peaks Wilderness

The Kachina Peaks Wilderness is located in the San Francisco Peaks, immediately north of Flagstaff, and is part of the Coconino National Forest.
