Kachina Peaks Avalanche Center

·      During winter months, SAR members may be called upon to rescue out-of-bounds skiers and snowboarders on the San Francisco Peaks. The Kachina Peaks Avalanche center performs annual training in snow safety and coordinates with CCSSAR.

National Park Service – Grand Canyon
